Zeta Tau Alpha Epsilon Chapter has had such a fun, exciting,
and busy semester. In February, we did our annual Kiss Away Cancer Booths for
our philanthropy, Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. Also in February, we
went to Fort Smith to attend Zeta Day, where our chapter advisor, Areta Moseley,
won the Outstanding Advisor award and we, as a chapter, won the Membership
Award! And, as always, we had many percentage nights at places such as Tacos 4
Life, Chik-fil-a, and our new fav, Nutrition Hog!
Last blog I talked about our Pilates for Pink we did our
Mom’s Weekend. We absolutely LOVED doing it and can’t wait to do it again next
year. Another thing we introduced this semester was our “Call For The Cure”
day. We had ONE day to raise as much money as possible for our philanthropy by
calling and texting friends, family, and businesses. We had a goal of $5,000
and we ended up over doubling our goal, raising a whopping $13,200!!!!
Lastly, our house expansion is in the works! It was so fun
at the end of the semester starting to see the form and shape of what it will
be. We are so pumped and grateful for it!! It will be ready by the end of July,
just in time for our lovely PNM’s to check it out!
Spring semester of 2017 was a good one to us, and we can’t wait for what is to come! We are so grateful for our Zeta sisters, but also for our University of Arkansas, Greek Life, and Fayetteville communities. August can’t come soon enough! Go Greek and GO HOGS!
