Tri Delta's 18 Holes for Hope

Over the summer, at Tri Delta's National Convention a new goal was unveiled between the partnership of St. Jude Children's Hospital and Tri Delta: the goal of raising $60 million in only 10 years!

Here, the Delta Iota chapter began their contribution to that goal at their first fundraising event of the year: 18 Holes for Hope, a golf tournament where all proceeds benefit St. Jude.

Emily Zimmerman said, "it's great to see friends and family come out and support our efforts to raise money for St. Jude! I look forward to this event every year".

This year the event was held at Stonebridge Meadows and was open to friends, family, and anyone who wanted to come out and support a great cause while playing in a 4-man scramble style tournament. Several local businesses showed their support and kindly sponsored holes along the course.

Hannah Sokora said, "it's a great way to get our community involved, not just students on campus".

18 Holes for Hope is always Tri Delta's first fundraiser of the year and this year, "it was definitely a success!", said Patrice Mahoney, the Tri Delta philanthropy chair. Patrice continued, "with 18 Holes for Hope, we were able to raise $16,000 for St. Jude! We are definitely off to a great start this year!".
