Congratulations to the March Greek Woman of the Month, Hailey Guthrie!
Hailey is a junior from Springdale, Arkansas and is a member of Pi Beta Phi. She was nominated by her Pi Phi sister, Lauren Allford.
Words
cannot truly express how much Hailey is deserving of this award and honor. Hailey is dedicated to her studies in
Communication Disorders, while being active within the Honors College. Even while
maintaining a 3.9 GPA, Hailey truly exemplifies Pi Beta Phi's core values in
the most genuine ways. Unfortunately, a year into her college career, Hailey
developed a rare heart condition that has made things very difficult. What a
great trial it has been for her, however, this circumstance has allowed her
perseverance and dependence on the Lord to develop even more. Truly a blessing
in disguise in Hailey's eyes and for those around her that are able to witness
the incredible example she sets consistently. I have never met someone, despite
her circumstances, that truly displays the work ethic, caring heart, and
fun-loving personality a Greek woman should uphold. I cannot think of someone
more fitting to represent all Panhellenic than Hailey Guthrie.
Do you know someone who you think would make a great Greek Woman of the Month? Applications are due at the end of each month to Bentley at bssnider@email.uark.edu or to the Greek Life Office. Applications can be found on the Greek Life website at http://uagreeks.uark.edu/3238.php
