ZTA's Kiss Away Cancer

With Valentine's Day, the ladies of Zeta Tau Alpha got the campus in the spirit of love and giving with Kiss Away Cancer booths Thursday, February 13 through Friday, February 14.

With two booths, one located at the Union Mall and one outside of Brough Commons dining hall, the members of ZTA raised an estimated $1,100 in donations for their philanthropy, Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. For a one dollar donation, students could chose to get a Hershey's Kiss or a kiss on the cheek from a Zeta.

Sophomore ZTA, Kylie Weston said, "Kiss Away Cancer is my favorite event of the year. I feel like it's such a fun and creative way to help us raise more money for Breast Cancer Awareness and Education."

Weston added that people will approach the booths and tell of how they or their families have been affected by breast cancer and that is what makes it all worth while.
An estimated 70 girls worked the Kiss Away Cancer booths. By working the booths, sister grew closer, a little bit of love was spread throughout campus, and most importantly, Breast Cancer Awareness and Education was benefited.
