About Riley (submitted by Katelyn):
"Riley Nelson is the
most hard-working, motivated woman I have ever met. She excels in whatever it
is she does. She has served as the Vice President of Finance for the Arkansas
Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi and was awarded the Silver Slipper by Pi Beta
Phi’s national offices because of her outstanding work. She is the current
president of the Finance Club at the University of Arkansas, has been a part of
the Fixed Income and Portfolio programs, and has maintained a 4.0 GPA
throughout her college career.
While her academic achievements are
undoubtedly impressive, they are not Riley’s greatest accomplishments. She is a
loyal and generous friend to all in her chapter and that is what makes her so
deserving of this award. She goes out of her way to make everyone around her
feel welcome. Not only that, but she is the one you can count on when you find
yourself in a sticky situation. She goes above and beyond for her friends and
considers each woman in her chapter to be just that: a friend. I cannot imagine
a better candidate for Greek Woman of the Month."
